Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Vice Chancellor of Eastern University and President of the Bangladesh Society for Private University Academics (BSPUA), has been honored with the prestigious IPM Education Leadership Award 2025 by the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM), Bangladesh.
The award was conferred during the 3rd IPM HR Summit 2025, held yesterday at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) Auditorium, Dhaka. Ms. Farida Akhter, Hon’ble Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, presented the crest and award certificate to Professor Dr. Sobhani.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University; Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific; Dr. Md. Musharrof Hossain, President of IPM; and Mr. Shakil Meraj, Secretary General of IPM.
This award recognizes Professor Dr. Sobhani’s visionary leadership and outstanding contributions to the advancement of tertiary education in Bangladesh.
