
Debate Club
Eastern University Debating Club participates in a variety of different debate events on campus, and throughout the country. It also brings debate to the campus and greater student community by engaging in public debates on various issues. Through the establishment of the debate club there has been an opportunity for the students to stimulate students’ critical thinking, develop research, analytical and creative abilities, listen to and accept others opinions related to debatable issues, i.e. improving the skills in reaching a consensus and gathering the acquired knowledge necessary for students’ professional development.

Games & Sports Club
Games & Sports Club at Eastern University is a student-run organization that started its journey to unleash and nurture the talents and physical growth of students. The Club works to provide a platform for the students to perform at different sports and bring the best out of them under the skilled supervision of impeccably competent coordinators. The Club program allows students to participate in sports and compete with other universities. The philosophy of Games & Sports Club includes providing opportunities to organize and participate at different events, consisting of both inter and intra-level competition in an academic year.

Visual Archive Club (VAC)
The idea behind the Visual Archive Club is to bring together students who love painting, photographing, designing and having a set of artistic skills which are then further developed at EU. The Club fundamentally wants to establish a community of artists at EU who help one another in developing their creative ideas. It offers our resources to develop projects that are within the activities and goal of EU Visual Archive Club and also are related to visual arts. Additionally, the club organizes exhibitions, auctions, and many other creative events that enrich the student life at EU.

Cultural Club
Eastern University Cultural Club is established to promote traditional as well as modern cultural activities to the students of the University. The Club works to provide a platform for the talents like artists, musicians, singers, dancers, hosts, graphic designers etc. Students can visualize their visions into action through performances of different kinds of song, dance, acting, composing, instrumental music, recitation, and so on. Through various activities, the Cultural Club aims to generate awareness about the culture and traditions of Bangladesh. Every semester the Club organizes innovative programs and splendid performances by the in-house members as well as distinguished invited celebrity guest performers.

Engineering Club
Engineering Club at EU is a platform of students to work together at designing innovative projects,participating different science competition with new invention of science and making collaboration with engineering organizations and universities to create experiences that introduce students to the role of engineering in the community and the career potential available for those who select engineering as their career pathway.

Writers’ Forum
Spark Creative Writers’ Forum is a platform at EU with the goal to promote creative writing skills of ingenious students. It aims at spreading the culture of nourishing the creative thinking, seeking knowledge and encouraging innovative discourses.

The objective of Eastern University Computing Club is to promote students on computer programming for national, regional & international programming contest. The club organizes computing contest in a regular basis.

Moot Court Society
The Moot Court Society at EU is an organization of law students who are devoted to excellence in oral advocacy and appellate brief writing. Its purpose is to prepare the students for court-room proceedings, enhance their skill as legal practitioner. Eastern University Moot Court Society participates at different moot-court competition regularly.

IEEE EU Student Branch
IEEE Eastern University Student Branch got official approval on May 15, 2014 and its branch code is STB15761. Counselor of IEEE EUSB is Prof. Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Coordinator is Mr. Maidul Islam, Chair is Mr. Parvez Hossain and Secretary is Mr. Hasibul Hasan.

Drama & Theatre Forum
The Drama & Theatre Forum aims to explore real scenarios in a way that empowers EU students to rehearse solutions and change the outcome of a scenario for the better. The club approaches performance as both an object and method of theatre. As an object of the club we understand performance in a range of broad, as well as highly focused, manifestations, including theatre history and dramatic literature; avant-garde and experimental performance; the performance of politics; performance of everyday life; performance of race, gender, sexuality, class, and nation; and performance of myth and ritual. The club always encourages new writers, actors, volunteers and organizers from EU students every semester in the club, and helps them flourish into full fledged professionals.

EarthCare Club
Eastern University Earth Care Club (EUECC) is a platform to raise environmental awareness among the students. The club organizes different programs to make the students aware of climate change, green technology, low carbon emissions, reducing the environmental pollution, waste management, saving the nature. Eastern University Earth Care Club (EUECC) takes various activities like setting 'Dust Box' (to collect waste), Road Cleaning, Celebrating the World Environment Day and encouraging Tree Plantation in different educational institutes.

Journalist Forum
The Journalist Forum at EU is a network of interested students of being journalist and young professionals with a view to fostering critical thinking about media journalism, encouraging ethics in journalism and developing skills for dynamic journalism and media professions.

Language Club
This club is for everyone! If you are interested in meeting new people, getting help from experienced seniors for class work, or just want to be able to brush up on your language skills, we are happy to sign with you! Eastern University Language Club helps its students through creating facilities to improve their communication skills in English, nurturing a sense of leadership, team spirit, cooperation and voluntary services among the students which will help them better perform in their career in future, cultivating a sense of social and ethical responsibilities and building a better image of the university.

Social Welfare Club
With the slogan “Serve beyond the boundary,” Eastern University Social Welfare Club (EUSWC) is working relentlessly to foster and develop self reliance and efficiency of the students. It is one of the prominent clubs of Eastern University which paves the way for the students to engage themselves in the social welfare activities. The club organizes Blood Grouping and Blood Donation programs in collaboration with MANUSH, SANDHANI and QUANTUM. It also stands by the disadvantaged people in times of natural calamities. Winter clothes distribution is a yearly program of the club. The club also runs educational multimedia presentation programs in different schools and colleges outside Dhaka City. As awareness building forum EUSWC also organizes seminars at the university campus on various topics including Food Contamination, Dengue Prevention, raising awareness about acute diseases and anti drug campaign.
