IQAC Workshop on “EU Administration and Professionalism”

Recently, the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Eastern University (EU) organized an insightful workshop on “EU Administration and Professionalism” under supervision of Professor Dr. Md. Ashraf Hossain, Director of IQAC, EU. Director requested Dr. Abul Bashar Khan, Registrar for his welcome address on EU administration, academic programs and extra curriculum activities. The workshop participants were newly joined faculty members and officials.
The workshop sessions focused on important administrative and academic topics, such as various sections’ roles and responsibilities, EU services rules, advising and IT uses, exam rules and regulations, result submission and uploading, club activities, program funding and adjustments, etc.
Prof. Md. Shamsul Huda, Treasurer of EU focused on program funding and adjustments, whereas Deputy Registrars, Mr. Farid Hossain (BOT) and Mr. G.M. Nafiun Hossain (HR) discussed on ACR, Service rules and regulations. Mr. Romij Uddin, Assistant Registrar highlighted the exam rules and regulations; and Mr. Md. Farhad Bhuiyan, Assistant Director, IT Section explained about Student advising and IT uses. After each sessions, Director of IQAC briefly provided his comments and remarks.
This workshop not only enhanced knowledge but also fostering a deeper understanding of EU administrative systems and awareness-building on professionalism among participants toward efficient and smoothly running of the university. The workshop ended with closing remarks on more efficient academic and administrative culture as well as certificate distribution among the participants by Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, the honourable VC of EU.
