The Department of Pharmacy at Eastern University, in collaboration with the Pharma Club, successfully hosted a vibrant "Player Auction" yesterday in preparation for the upcoming departmental cricket tournament Pharma Cricket League (PCL) on 4th April 2026 at Rezakul Haider Hall. The event, held within the university premises, saw faculty members and students trade their lab coats for bidding paddles in a display of strategy and sportsmanship.
The auction served as the official kickoff for the upcoming cricket season, aiming to foster camaraderie and teamwork outside the classroom. With a fixed "budget" for each team, captains and managers engaged in intense bidding wars to secure the best talent from a pool of enthusiastic pharmacy students.
