Eastern University held its 142nd Syndicate Meeting today at the university campus, chaired by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani.
Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), including Mr. Abul Quasem Haider and Mr. Afzalur Rahman, along with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mezbah-ul-Islam (External Member from DU), Dr. Abul Basher Khan (Registrar), Mr. Md. Shamsul Huda (Treasurer), and other senior officials, Deans, and Heads were present.
The meeting discussed key issues including academic development, recruitment and promotion, quality assurance, teaching evaluation, infrastructure development, research initiatives, and administrative efficiency.
The session concluded with a strong commitment to enhancing academic excellence and institutional growth.
