We are proud to share a remarkable achievement of our student Noman Bin Hossain, Department of Computer Science & Engineering.
On 26 February 2026, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC), Agargaon, the U.S.-based nonprofit organization 1 One officially launched its activities in Bangladesh. The organization is dedicated to promoting education, wellness, economic empowerment, and community development through inclusive and community-centered initiatives.
The event attracted more than 400 applications from students representing various universities across Bangladesh. Among them, 90 participants were shortlisted, and only 4 individuals were invited on stage to receive Certificates of Appreciation.
We are delighted to announce that Noman Bin Hossain was selected as one of the four recipients — a truly proud moment for both him and our university.
Representing Eastern University on such a prestigious national platform among students from many reputed institutions reflects his dedication, excellence, and commitment to making a positive impact.
