We are pleased to share that the certificate awarding ceremony of Digital Skills Training for CSE & EEE students, a premier learning opportunity presented by the EDGE Project of the Bangladesh Computer Council and ICT Division through IIT, Jahangirnagar University was held on 21 December 2025 at Rezakul Haider Hall of Eastern University. This ceremony was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Eastern University.
Certificates were awarded to 175 students of CSE and 25 students of EEE for their successful completion of training on Software Testing and Quality Assurance, PHP (Laravel), Graphics Design, Flutter, Python (Django), Java (Spring Boot) and React.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Vice Chancellor of EU as chief guest. In his valuable speech, highlighted to move forward with a spirit of innovation but also with ethics, empathy and the determination to create a brighter world.
Prof. Md. Shamsul Huda, Treasurer, EU and Prof. Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Dean, School of Engineering were present as special guests and the ceremony was presided by Muhammad Mahfuz Hasan, Head, Department of CSE, Eastern University.
The event marked not only the end of a successful program but also a new beginning for participants as they apply their skills in their respective fields.
