The Department of Civil Engineering, Eastern University proudly represented the university at the prestigious national-level competition “Shah Cement presents Celencia Season–01”, hosted by Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
A total of eight talented students from the department participated in this highly competitive event, demonstrating their technical competence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities on a national platform. Their participation reflects Eastern University’s commitment to nurturing industry-ready engineers capable of addressing real-world challenges.
🔹 House of Truss
Two teams—EU Crack Fighters and TriAxial Engineers—competed in this segment, where participants were challenged to design and construct efficient truss structures. The teams showcased strong command over structural analysis, design optimization, and engineering aesthetics.
🔹 Mechanics Mayhem
In this fast-paced and intellectually demanding segment, Eastern University’s students demonstrated exceptional analytical skills and mechanical reasoning while solving complex engineering problems under time constraints.
