Eastern University successfully organized a Microsoft 365 Workshop recently at Rezakul Haider Hall of the university. The workshop was arranged by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with the aim of empowering students through smart digital productivity tools.
The workshop focused on helping students understand modern work trends such as hybrid work, flexible work, and the role of front-line workers, and how Microsoft 365 supports these working models. Participants were introduced to practical uses of Microsoft 365 applications to improve collaboration, communication, and efficiency in both academic and professional environments.
The session was conducted by A K M Nurul Alam, Deputy General Manager and Solution Architect, who joined the program as the Resource Person. He explained how Microsoft 365 enables users to stay connected from anywhere, ensures secure access through advanced security features, and supports teamwork through tools like online meetings, shared workspaces, and cloud-based services.
During the workshop, students learned about key features of Microsoft 365, including secure sign-ins, device management, online collaboration, and tools that support productivity and employee wellbeing. The discussion highlighted how these skills are essential for students as they prepare for future careers in a technology-driven and hybrid working world.
