Four students from the Faculty of Law, Eastern University, recently participated in the Legal Skills Boot Camp 2025, a three-day national residential program organized by the Human Rights Observation Center at Subornogram Resort, Narayanganj.
The boot camp brought together 80 aspiring legal professionals from 20 universities across Bangladesh, creating a dynamic platform for participants to learn, link, and lead through intensive sessions on human rights, legal research, and legislative drafting.
Representing Eastern University were:

* Umme Maria Tiffa (3rd Semester)
* N.N. Md. Mujtoba Shamuel Hossain (2nd Semester)
Eastern University proudly notes that Abu Nasir Al Rakib received the Best Activity Excellence Award for his outstanding performance during the camp.
Participants engaged in a variety of interactive workshops and activities. A highlight of the program was a session titled “An Introduction to Legal Research”, conducted by Dr. Muhammad Eqramul Haque, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka.
The boot camp provided students with valuable hands-on experience, expert guidance, and a strong networking opportunity—further strengthening their commitment to legal education and human rights advocacy.
