Listening: Listening lessons require students to comprehend a text by listening to a recording of a reading text. They will need to get the main idea and specific information of a text, identify intonation and minimal sound and minimal sound difference, understand announcements and instructions, complete multiple matching, and so on.
Speaking: The course is designed to advance students’ spoken English so that they can make effective conversation in English in situations where English is used, communicate with native speakers, hold meetings with overseas delegates and persons who use English. Lessons designed for this are about members of a family, a school timetable, people’s daily routine, shopping facilities in a place, a big department store, describing people’s character/appearance, ambitions and plans, making a shopping list, ordering food, taking notes, welcoming people, agreeing-disagreeing, making appointments, polite requests and offers, asking for and giving permission and apologizing.
