Course outline

a. Analyzing poems and transforming the text
b. Developing response papers on literary texts e.g. poems, stories, novels etc.
c. Transforming drama into short story
d. Character crafting
e. Analyzing stories and transforming the text
f. Drawing coherence from introduced topics-making stories out of random pictures
g. Predictions – using selected texts to either predict what happened before or might happen in the end
h. Improvising role plays to either predict what happened before or might happen in the end
i. Using selected texts to reformulate the story changing time/space/genre e.g. introducing a 19th century play to modern times or a British story to Bangladeshi setting
j. Reorganizing theme/plot/setting/characters from literary texts
k. Using short films/documents/clips to construct response papers
