The Department of English, School of Arts at Eastern University, successfully organized another session of its ongoing lecture series Teachers’ Talk on 7 April 2026 at Room 521.
The session, titled “Early English Exposure and Oral Language Development,” was delivered by Ms. Kazi Tahmina, Assistant Professor, Department of English. Grounded in research-driven insights, the talk explored key dimensions of child language acquisition, focusing on how early exposure to English significantly influences oral language development.
The session also highlighted important theoretical perspectives alongside relevant empirical findings, offering valuable academic and practical understanding for both students and faculty members.
