The Department of Business Administration, Eastern University, successfully organized the Intra-Department Football Tournament – Season 2 at the Eastern University playground, bringing together students in an exciting celebration of teamwork, competition, and sportsmanship.
Five teams participated in the tournament and demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit throughout the competition. After a highly competitive final match, Invictus United emerged victorious, defeating Black Pearl to claim the championship title.
The prize-giving ceremony was graced by Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University, Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, as the Chief Guest. He handed over the prizes to the champions and runners-up and congratulated all the participating teams for their outstanding performance.
Professor Brigadier General Dr. A K M Iqbal Azim, Dean, School of Business, attended the ceremony as the Special Guest. The ceremony was presided over by Habib Anwar Pasha, Head, Department of Business Administration, who appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in developing leadership, teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie.
Special appreciation goes to Md. Balayet Hossen and Rifat Hasan Riyad, Lecturers, Department of Business Administration, for their dedicated efforts and instrumental role in successfully facilitating the tournament.
