School of Business of Eastern University recently organized another successful Industrial Visits on 30th August 2026, for a group of 45 enthusiastic students of Spring-2025 to Trent Shoes Factory, Zipper Factory Road, Auk Para, Ashulia, Savar as a part of their practical learning experience. It was a truly insightful and outstanding event!!
The visit was directed by Prof. Brigadier General Dr. A K M Iqbal Azim, ndc, psc, G+ (Retd), Dean, School of Business, and Habib Anwar Pasha, Head, Department of Business Administration. It was supervised by Dr. Farhana Khan, Director (IFBI) & Associate Professor, and Coordinate by Fozia Rahman, Assistant Professor, School of Business. Special thanks are extended to them as well as to our dedicated faculty members and staffs for their excellent coordination and support in making this program possible.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Salma Akhter, Head of Business, Trent Shoes for her kind guidance, inspiration and continuous support in connecting our students with real-world industry practices and the industry authority for their warm welcome and valuable guidance throughout the visit.
We hope industrial visits like this will help students link academic lessons with practical industry exposure, preparing them for a successful future.
