The Department of Pharmacy of Eastern University, in association with the Eastern University Pharma Club, organized "View Exchange with the Freshers' 2026" at Rezakul Haidar Hall on the university campus. Under the theme "Together We Learn. Together We Grow," the program warmly welcomed the newly admitted students through an inspiring and engaging gathering.
Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University, attended the program as the Chief Guest. He encouraged the freshers to build their future with discipline, ethics, and continuous learning, emphasizing that dedication and a positive mindset are essential for becoming responsible healthcare professionals.
Mr. Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) of Aristopharma Ltd, joined the program as the Guest of Honor and shared valuable career insights with the students. Prof. Dr. Firoj Ahmed, Advisor of the Department of Pharmacy, attended as the Special Guest, while Dr. Abu Bin Ihsan, Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Head (In-Charge) of the Department of Pharmacy, chaired the session.
The program featured an oath-taking ceremony, where the new students pledged to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards of the pharmacy profession. The guests also delivered inspiring speeches, offering practical guidance for academic success and future career development.
