On April 20, 2026, the campus of Eastern University was beautifully adorned with colors and joy as we celebrated "Bangla Noboborsho - 1433". Organized by the Eastern University Cultural Club, the vibrant day-long festival brought together students, teachers, officials, staff, and alumni in a festive atmosphere.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani graced the occasion as Chief Guest and emphasized that Pohela Boishakh is a day to reconnect with our roots and nurture our culture and human values. Treasurer Prof. Md. Shamsul Huda and Registrar Dr. Abul Bashar Khan also shared inspiring words, encouraging everyone to embrace our rich heritage.
The celebration featured a colorful Boishakhi Mela, captivating cultural performances, flash mob, bioscope, nagordola, and delightful food & handicraft stalls. Students in traditional attire added extra vibrancy to the entire campus.
