Course outline

Course Contents:
Introduction- Admiralty- jurisdiction, procedure, ownership in ships and ships as property, safety regulations, and assistance at the sea and ports. Carriage of goods-contract of affreightment, charterparties and bill of lading. Marine insurance- the contract of marine insurance, the doctrine of uberrimae fidei and insurance contracts, the terms of the contract, risks, and causation; and insurer's insurance, indemnity, subrogation and contribution.
