‘ক্যাম্পাস টু কর্পোরেট’ প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল দিনব্যাপী ‘স্কিল অ্যান্ড এমপ্লয়েবিলিটি সামিট ২০২৬’। শনিবার (১৫ আগস্ট) আয়োজিত এ সামিটের মূল লক্ষ্য ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা ও কর্পোরেট দুনিয়ার মধ্যকার দূরত্ব কমিয়ে তাদের চাকরির বাজারের জন্য আরও দক্ষ ও প্রস্তুত করে তোলা। সামিটে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তৃতা প্রদান করেন ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির ভাইস চ্যান্সেলর প্রফেসর ড. ফরিদ আহমদ সোবহানী। উদ্বোধনী পর্বে স্বাগত বক্তব্য দেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ব্যবসায় প্রশাসন বিভাগের ডিন প্রফেসর ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল ড. এ কে এম ইকবাল আজিম ও ট্রেজারার প্রফেসর মো. শামসুল হুদা। সামিটের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ ছিল বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানের জব অফার। দেশের বিভিন্ন খ্যাতনামা প্রতিষ্ঠান এতে অংশগ্রহণ করে। শিক্ষার্থীরা সরাসরি প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলোর বুথে গিয়ে তাদের পছন্দের পদ ও সম্ভাব্য কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য সিভি জমা দেওয়ার সুযোগ পান। অংশগ্রহণকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো পরবর্তীতে জমা পড়া সিভিগুলো যাচাই-বাছাই করে সম্ভাব্য শূন্যপদের জন্য যোগ্য প্রার্থীদের নির্বাচন করবে। সামিটের সার্বিক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব পালন করে খ্যাতনামা চাকরির প্ল্যাটফর্ম স্কিল জবস। শুধু চাকরির সুযোগ নয়, শিক্ষার্থীদের দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধির ওপরও বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয় সামিটে।দিনব্যাপী বিভিন্ন অধিবেশনে দেশের বিভিন্ন খাতের অভিজ্ঞ কর্পোরেট পেশাজীবীরা অংশ নেন। তাঁরা শিক্ষার্থীদের সিভি লেখার কৌশল, চাকরির সাক্ষাৎকারে নিজেকে উপস্থাপন, কর্মক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা, নেতৃত্ব, দলগত কাজ, ক্যারিয়ার পরিকল্পনা এবং আধুনিক কর্পোরেট পরিবেশের উপযোগী পেশাগত দক্ষতা নিয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও তথ্যবহুল দিকনির্দেশনা দেন। আলোচনায় শিক্ষার্থীদের ভবিষ্যৎ কর্মজীবনের জন্য প্রস্তুত করা, কর্মক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা অর্জন, ব্যক্তিগত ব্র্যান্ড তৈরি, উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তাভাবনা, প্রবৃদ্ধিমুখী মানসিকতা, আত্মসচেতনতা ও কর্মসংস্থানযোগ্যতা বাড়ানোর মতো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় উঠে আসে। এর মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা একাডেমিক শিক্ষার পাশাপাশি বাস্তব কর্মক্ষেত্রের চাহিদা ও প্রত্যাশা সম্পর্কে প্রত্যক্ষ ধারণা লাভের সুযোগ পান। সমাপনী পর্বে ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির রেজিস্ট্রার ড. আবুল বাশার খান, এডমিশন বিভাগের পরিচালক (ইনচার্জ) ও সহযোগী অধ্যাপক আবু মো. আবদুল্লাহ এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্টুডেন্ট এফেয়ার্স ও প্লেসমেন্ট অফিসের উপপরিচালক কে. এম. মনিরুল ইসলাম বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন। পরে আয়োজক কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন ও অতিথিদের সম্মাননা প্রদানের মাধ্যমে সামিটের সমাপ্তি হয়।

আজ ১৮ জুলাই ২০২৬ ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটিতে সামার সেমিস্টার ২০২৬-এর নবীনবরণ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির মাননীয় উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. ফরিদ আহমদ সোবহানী। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আইন বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. বোরহান উদ্দিন খান এবং বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ ফার্মেসি কাউন্সিলের সদস্য প্রফেসর ড. মো. হাসান কাউসার। অনুষ্ঠানে নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি পরিবারে আন্তরিকভাবে স্বাগত জানানো হয়। প্রধান অতিথি তাঁর বক্তব্যে শিক্ষার্থীদের ন্যায়বোধ, সততা, মানবিক মূল্যবোধ এবং আইনের শাসনের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল থেকে নিজেদের দক্ষ ও দায়িত্বশীল নাগরিক হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার আহ্বান জানান। তিনি উচ্চশিক্ষার পাশাপাশি যুক্তিবোধ, সমালোচনামূলক চিন্তাশক্তি এবং সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতা অর্জনের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন। বিশেষ অতিথি প্রফেসর ড. মো. হাসান কাউসার শিক্ষার্থীদের গবেষণামুখী শিক্ষা, উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তা এবং পেশাগত উৎকর্ষ অর্জনে মনোনিবেশ করার পরামর্শ দেন। তিনি বলেন, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় জীবন একজন শিক্ষার্থীর ব্যক্তিগত ও পেশাগত বিকাশের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সময়। অতিথির বক্তব্যে চীফ মেট্রোপলিটন ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালত, গাজীপুর এর বিজ্ঞ ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট এবং ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির সফল প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী জনাব মোঃ আব্দুল্লাহ-আল-মাসুম নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্তকে কাজে লাগিয়ে জ্ঞান, দক্ষতা ও নেতৃত্বগুণ বিকাশের আহ্বান জানান। সভাপতির বক্তব্যে উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. ফরিদ আহমদ সোবহানী শিক্ষার্থীদের নৈতিক মূল্যবোধ, শৃঙ্খলা ও মানবিক গুণাবলি অর্জনের মাধ্যমে দেশ ও সমাজের কল্যাণে নিবেদিত যোগ্য নাগরিক হিসেবে নিজেদের গড়ে তোলার আহ্বান জানান। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রক্টর এসোসিয়েট প্রফেসর আব্দুর রব, নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের শপথ পাঠ করান এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষা, গবেষণা ও সহশিক্ষা কার্যক্রমে সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণের আহ্বান জানান। অনুষ্ঠানে আরও বক্তব্য রাখেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ট্রেজারার প্রফেসর মো. শামসুল হুদা, স্বাগত বক্তব্য রাখেন রেজিস্ট্রার ড. আবুল বাশার খান, আইন অনুষদের ডিন এ. বি. এম. ইমদাদুল হক খান এবং লাইফ সাইন্স অনুষদের এডভাইজার প্রফেসর ড. ফিরোজ আহমেদ। অনুষ্ঠানে সমাপনী বক্তব্য দেন ওরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রামের কনভেনর ও আইন বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান মোহাম্মদ মামুনুর রশিদ। এ সময় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিভিন্ন অনুষদের ডিন, বিভাগীয় প্রধান, শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা, কর্মচারী, অভিভাবক এবং নবীন শিক্ষার্থীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানে নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের একাডেমিক কার্যক্রম, শিক্ষার্থী সহায়তা সেবা, বিভিন্ন ক্লাবের কার্যক্রম এবং ক্যাম্পাসের বিভিন্ন সুযোগ-সুবিধা সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত ধারণা প্রদান করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠান শেষে শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণে এক মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

Eastern University Hosts a Day-Long Workshop on Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants to Build Youth Network Eastern University, in association with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), successfully organized a specialized workshop on Trafficking in Persons (TIP) and Smuggling of Migrants (SOM) titled “Building a Youth Network for a Better Future” yesterday at Rezakul Haider Hall of Eastern University. The full-day program was an initiative under the project “Preventing and Addressing Trafficking in Human Beings and the Smuggling of Migrants,” funded by the European Union and supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Bangladesh. The workshop brought together students from various public and private universities across the country, particularly those studying law, criminology, sociology, political science, and related disciplines. Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Eastern University, attended the workshop as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony. The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony was Ms. Rebeka Khan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh Secretariat. The program began with opening remarks by Mr. Mohammad Mamunur Rashid, Head of the Department of Law, Eastern University. Thereafter, Mr. A.B.M. Imdadul Haque Khan, Dean, School of Law, Eastern University, delivered the welcome remarks. The first session was conducted by Ms. Tasneem Binta Karim, National Programme Coordinator of UNODC. She highlighted an overview of the UNODC project and the human rights-based approach to trafficking in persons. Mr. Marcus Vinicius Paes, Law Enforcement Advisor of UNODC, also facilitated the workshop. His session focused on the concept of Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants. Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Additional Senior Superintendent of Police, Trafficking in Human Beings Cell-CID, with his first-hand experience, enriched the workshop with his discussion on trends and investigations of TIP and SOM in Bangladesh. Mr. A.B.M. Imdadul Haque Khan, Dean, School of Law, from an academic perspective, conducted the final technical session on the legal framework for countering human trafficking in Bangladesh. Participants from 17 different universities, along with participants from Eastern University, attended this day-long workshop. Participants actively engaged in group work, open discussions, and a quiz competition. The workshop concluded with closing remarks followed by a certificate distribution ceremony, during which Ms. Rebeka Khan delivered the closing remarks, formally bringing the program to an end. The workshop aimed to equip university students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to understand, identify, and respond to trafficking in persons and migrant smuggling, while fostering a strong youth network of advocates committed to prevention and awareness-raising efforts in their communities. This initiative forms part of UNODC’s broader efforts to strengthen the rule of law education and engage young people as champions against these serious transnational crimes.

দুই দিনব্যাপী টানটান উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ এই টুর্নামেন্টে আবারও চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং (CSE) বিভাগ। ফাইনালে ইলেকট্রিক্যাল অ্যান্ড ইলেকট্রনিক্স ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং (EEE) বিভাগকে হারিয়ে হাড্ডাহাড্ডি লড়াইয়ের মধ্য দিয়ে শিরোপা নিশ্চিত করে CSE দল। এবারের টুর্নামেন্টে অংশগ্রহণ করে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মোট ৭টি বিভাগ—CSE, EEE, Civil, Law, Pharmacy, English এবং BBA। টুর্নামেন্টটির স্পন্সর ছিল ক্লেমন। পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠানে মাননীয় উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. ফরিদ আহমদ সোবহানী বিজয়ীদের হাতে ট্রফি তুলে দেন। এ সময় রেজিস্ট্রার, ডিনবৃন্দ, বিভাগীয় প্রধানগণ, শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী, কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মার্লিন ট্যুরস এন্ড ট্রাভেলস এর চেয়ারম্যান জুয়েল রেজোয়ানি মিয়াহ। এছাড়া ক্লেমন এর পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন গাজী আলমগীর। এই আয়োজনটি পরিচালিত হয় স্টুডেন্ট অ্যাফেয়ার্স ও প্লেসমেন্ট বিভাগ-এর উপ-পরিচালক কে. এম. মনিরুল ইসলাম-এর তত্ত্বাবধানে এবং সহযোগিতায় ছিল ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি গেমস ও স্পোর্টস ক্লাব। ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি কর্তৃপক্ষ ভবিষ্যতেও এ ধরনের আয়োজন অব্যাহত রাখার আশা প্রকাশ করেছে।

On April 20, 2026, the campus of Eastern University was beautifully adorned with colors and joy as we celebrated "Bangla Noboborsho - 1433". Organized by the Eastern University Cultural Club, the vibrant day-long festival brought together students, teachers, officials, staff, and alumni in a festive atmosphere. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Farid A. Sobhani graced the occasion as Chief Guest and emphasized that Pohela Boishakh is a day to reconnect with our roots and nurture our culture and human values. Treasurer Prof. Md. Shamsul Huda and Registrar Dr. Abul Bashar Khan also shared inspiring words, encouraging everyone to embrace our rich heritage. The celebration featured a colorful Boishakhi Mela, captivating cultural performances, flash mob, bioscope, nagordola, and delightful food & handicraft stalls. Students in traditional attire added extra vibrancy to the entire campus.

১১/০৪/২০২৬ ইং তারিখে এটিএন বাংলা ছায়া সংসদ বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতায় সরকারি টিচার্স ট্রেনিং কলেজকে পরাজিত করে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি। ডিবেট ফর ডেমোক্রেসি আয়োজিত এই প্রতিযোগিতাটি এক উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের বিপুল উপস্থিতিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এবারের বিতর্কের বিষয় ছিলো: "অর্থনৈতিক সুরক্ষায় রাজস্ব আয় বৃদ্ধি আগামী বাজেটের প্রধান কৌশল হওয়া উচিৎ"। অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট অর্থনীতিবিদ ও জাতিসংঘ উন্নয়ন কর্মসূচির (ইউএনডিপি) মানব উন্নয়ন প্রতিবেদন কার্যালয়ের সাবেক পরিচালক অধ্যাপক ড. সেলিম জাহান এবং সভাপতিত্ব করেন ডিবেট ফর ডেমোক্রেসির প্রেসিডেন্ট হাসান আহমেদ কিরন। ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির পক্ষ থেকে ফাতেমা তুজ জহুরা, কানিজ ফাতেমা রিতু এবং ডালিয়া সৈকত বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করে চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপ নিশ্চিত করার জন্য অসামান্য বিতর্ক এবং দলগত দক্ষতা প্রদর্শন করে। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির ডিবেটিং ক্লাবের কো-অর্ডিনেটর এবং আইন বিভাগের প্রভাষক মেহেরবা সাবরিন, স্টুডেন্ট এফেয়ার্স ও প্লেসমেন্ট বিভাগের উপ-পরিচালক কে.এম. মনিরুল ইসলাম, জনসংযোগ বিভাগের সহকারী পরিচালক মো: মহিউদ্দীন মজুমদার, ডিবেট ক্লাবের প্রেসিডেন্ট সৈয়দ সাবেত ইবনে মাহমুদ এবং ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির ছাত্র-ছাত্রীবৃন্দ। এই সাফল্য ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির জন্য একটি গর্বের মুহূর্ত যা বিতর্কে অংশগ্রহনকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রতিভা এবং নিষ্ঠার প্রতিফলন। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের এই বিজয় শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে চিন্তা-ভাবনা এবং জনসমক্ষে বক্তৃতা করার দক্ষতা বিকাশের গুরুত্বকে তুলে ধরে।

Professor Dr. Faird A. Sobhani, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, conducted an insightful workshop on “Branding and Promotion,” highlighting the importance of effective communication and collective efforts in strengthening the university’s brand. The program was attended by the Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Department Heads, Faculty Members, and Staffs, making it a meaningful and engaging session. After the workshop, everyone joined together for a grand Iftar Mahfil and Doa, sharing the spirit of unity and blessings of the holy month of Ramadan.

ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির আইন অনুষদের উদ্যোগে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আশুলিয়াস্থ ক্যাম্পাসে ‘অ্যালামনাই ইফতার ও রিইউনিয়ন’ অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রাণবন্ত ও সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ পরিবেশে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে বিপুল সংখ্যক প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহণ করেন। আইন অনুষদের ডিন, এ.বি.এম. ইমদাদুল হক খানের সভাপতিত্বে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. ফরিদ আহমদ সোবহানী। অনুষ্ঠানে স্বাগত বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন আইন অনুষদের বিভাগীয় প্রধান মোহাম্মদ মামুনুর রশীদ। এছাড়া অনুষদের অন্যান্য শিক্ষকবৃন্দ এবং শতাধিক অ্যালামনাই সদস্য অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ইস্টার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটির আইন বিভাগের কীর্তিমান শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে, বাংলাদেশ জুডিশিয়াল সার্ভিসে কর্মরত বিচারক, আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনাল-বাংলাদেশের প্রসিকিউটর, ডেপুটি ও সহকারী অ্যাটর্নি জেনারেল, সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল ও হাইকোর্ট বিভাগের আইনজীবী, জেলা আদালতের অতিরিক্ত ও সহকারী পাবলিক প্রসিকিউটর, করপোরেট লিগ্যাল সেক্টরের কর্মকর্তা, জাতিসংঘ ও বিভিন্ন আন্তর্জাতিক উন্নয়ন সংস্থার কর্মকর্তা, এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষকসহ বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পেশায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত আইন বিভাগের অ্যালামনাইবৃন্দ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে অধ্যাপক ড. ফরিদ আহমেদ সোবহানী, আইন অনুষদের অ্যালামনাইদের সাফল্যকে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গৌরব হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে আরও শক্তিশালী অ্যালামনাই প্ল্যাটফর্ম গড়ে তোলার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিষ্ঠিত অ্যালামনাই সদস্যরা তাঁদের অনুভূতি ব্যক্ত করেন। তাঁরা শিক্ষাজীবনের স্মৃতিচারণের পাশাপাশি নিজ ক্যাম্পাসে ফিরে আসার আনন্দঘন অভিজ্ঞতা তুলে ধরেন এবং ভবিষ্যতে অনুষদের কার্যক্রমে সক্রিয়ভাবে সম্পৃক্ত থাকার অঙ্গীকার ব্যক্ত করেন। আয়োজকরাও এ ধরনের আয়োজন নিয়মিতভাবে অব্যাহত রাখার আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেন। দোয়া ও ইফতারের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানের আনুষ্ঠানিক পর্বের সমাপ্তি ঘটে। ইফতার-পরবর্তী সময়ে মাননীয় উপাচার্যের কার্যালয়ে এক সৌহার্দ্য সাক্ষাতে অ্যালামনাই সদস্যরা তাঁদের নানাবিধ ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা ও অনুষদের উন্নয়নসংক্রান্ত প্রস্তাবনা উপস্থাপন করেন।

It is with immense pride and joy that Eastern University announces a historic achievement. For the very first time in the university’s history, the team from the Eastern University Moot Court Society (EUMCS) has qualified for the International Rounds of the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition 2025-26. This prestigious international event is scheduled to be held from April 14th to April 16th, 2026, at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. The EUMCS team, comprising Md Sakib Khondoker, Jonayed Al Ratul, and Mehbuba Akter Maria, earned this qualification by demonstrating exceptional merit at the 16th South Asia Regional Rounds. This round, held virtually from February 6th to 8th, 2026, was hosted by National Law University (NLU), Delhi, in collaboration with the Centre for Communication Governance at NLU Delhi and the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, University of Oxford. Notably, this marks the first time any team from Bangladesh has secured a position in the Semifinals of the regional round, adding further glory to the team's success. Furthermore, Eastern University will be the sole representative from Bangladesh on this international stage this year. The Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, established in 2008, is recognized as one of the most respected global mooting competitions. Named in honor of Professor Monroe E. Price, the founder of the Programme in Comparative Media Law and Policy (PCMLP) at the University of Oxford, the competition serves as a unique platform for students to debate and explore complex legal issues related to freedom of expression and international law. It particularly encourages students from developing countries to engage in informed debates regarding international norms of free speech and the intersection of law and technology. This landmark achievement is a shining example of Eastern University’s commitment to legal excellence and rigorous academic inquiry.
